Only bacteria and similar microorganisms are capable of synthesizing vitamin B12. However this vitamin can be found in animal derived products. Eggs and milk contain vitamin B12. Supplementation or food enrichment are alternate ways of obtaining vitamin B12

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that does most of its work outside of cell walls. Vitamin C and Vitamin E enhance each other's antioxidant effects.
