Passenger rail in Missouri

Amtrak passenger=national and passenger=regional trains serving Missouri (AMTK)

Amtrak operates most passenger=regional (medium-distance: often interstate, sometimes intrastate) and highspeed=yes trains as well as all passenger=national (long distance, interstate), overnight and passenger=international trains. All Amtrak trains serving Missouri are in this table. Please correct any errors and/or update, if required.

Projects/To Do List

The following is a list of projects that need completion in relation to the mapping and tagging of railroad lines in Missouri.

• Adding routes to tables above with appropriate information.
  • When adding lines that cross the state line, make sure you list the state the line ends in.
  • Some relation sections are currently filled with "Relation not defined yet". This either means that the relation does not exist, or the relation ID simply has not been looked up and entered into this wiki.
• Adding tags and relations to routes missing those data, as shown by above tables.
  • TIGER Review refers to the rail data originally imported into OSM and making sure it lines up properly with satellite/aerial imagery. Tags exist for both speed limits and signalling. For more detailed information on tags and tagging railroads, see WikiProject_United_States_railways, OpenRailwayMap/Tagging, OpenRailwayMap/Tagging in North America, and Tag:railway=signal.
• Renaming track segments (individual railway=rail elements) to reflect actual subdivision names, without being prefixed by the name of the railroad company. Use operator=* and/or owner=* tags to convey these data, not the name=* tag (that is considered "tagging for the renderer," a no-no in OSM).
