The tag motorcycle:sales=yes/no specifies whether or not a feature (usually a shop=motorcycle) sells motorcycles or scooters.
Sometimes shop=bicycle, shop=supermarket and shop=hardware stores also sell scooters or small motorbikes,
so motorcycle:sales=yes may be added. The combination with motorcycle:type=* is recommended. An alternative is using * sales=* or * sells=*.
The tag may also be used to distinguish
repair shops and rental shops from motorcycle dealers.
In those cases use motorcycle:sales=no.
- In case it's a dealer without a repair shop,
use motorcycle:repair=no.
- If the shop (workshop) only sells used bikes, use motorcycle:sales=used.
