The tag gritting=* can be used with maintenance=gritting to denote routes that are gritted as part of local authority winter service plans.

Currently used in:

  • the West Midlands (UK)
  • Eersel (The Netherlands)

Adopted k/v usage is:

  • maintenance=gritting
  • gritting= priority_1; priority_2; priority_3
  • gritting_operator= name of local authority
  • gritting_route_ref= x ( if annotated in Winter Service Plans)
