This is basically a clone of Rijksmuseum.nl that has Wikidata as the backend instead of just the stuff from one museum. Obviously, we have nice data, and we already have tools like Reasonator to view Wikidata stuff 'in pretty', but we lack a clear and visual way to display works of art and their metadata.

This could be also be used to visualise the progress of the Sum of all paintings projects.

Tasks

• Make a converter to simplify the JSON output from the Wikidata API for easier processing - This is partly done, see WDView
• Think of something to 'tile' the high resolution images on Commons
• Integrate this in a nice frontend
• Think of some way to display collections and make them searchable
