Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (or IEEE) is a governing body of international standards relating to Electronic and Electrical Components. It is one of several American standards bodies, including NIST, ANSI (the American member of ISO), and INMM. The IEEE is responsible for 30% of all standards used in the US related to computing.
