I am a Decepticon, one of the lineal descendants of the military hardware robots created by the Quintessons on their factory world of Cybertron. I rose up from a lowly worker to become a champion in gladiatorial combat. As a gladiator, I took the legendary name "Megatronus" as my own. I called for an end to my planet Cybertron's corrupted governing body and told the downtrodden that freedom of self-determination was the right of all sentient beings, becoming a mentor to a young Optimus Prime. Prime later betrayed me and tried to use a twisted version of my teachings against me when he became corrupt.

I have the ability to transform between my robot shape and a Walther P38, delivering more focused energy blasts than I can in my robotic form. I can also adjust my size and mass as I transform, to comfortably allow another Transformer or even a human being to wield me. I can fire electrical blasts from my hands, laser blasts from my eyes, and can reprogram computers with a port in my head.
