As a kid, I spent many hours in the basement workshop taking apart old VCRs, blowing up LEDs with 9v batteries and playing with arcade games my father used to build. Growing up with a fascination for computers and technology, I taught myself to program in 4th grade, learned animation and graphic design throughout high school, got into video game development in college, and am now studying to become a computer engineer.

While I am comfortable with the software side of computers and electronics, the hardware aspect has always seemed out of reach. I am currently not only going to school to remedy this situation, but embarking on my own endeavors to learn what I can about electronics and engineering in general. If I can help others learn a thing or two along the way, then I feel that I have made a worthwhile contribution.

I can't guarantee I know much about the subject, I'm sure the trail of dead components I leave behind me can shed some light on a thing or two and serve to answer a question someone might have. If I can be of assistance, please let me know!
