"Old-school" electronics and power engineer, now mostly just managing nearly two generations of "new age" engineers.

I understand big old power transformers and roaring locomotive motors better than these newfangled "electronics over a PC terminal" things. Pardon me for not being entirely enamored of the change away from getting one's hands dirty.
