I am struggling with the problem described in the title. I have the s-model of a capacitor I incuded in my design (.s2p series model for a capacitor put at the output pins of an IC in an LVDS line). I would like to include it with the nonidealities in the simulation, but I am quite new to the HyperLynx software and don't really know how to associate the s-model with the component itself.
I found an older post (IBIS models of capacitors) regarding the topic where in the comments the suggestion of adding the model came up. I was able to get to the same referenced dialog box but could not figure out how to add the s-model.
If I had the skill to do so, I would write the .ibs model myself for the part and just assign that, so a guide on how to do that would also be greatly appreciated.
